Detailed Itinerary
You'll be feeling like exploring a Mediterranean jungle, the paths we will be walking have been cleared by your tour guides Vassilis and Alex, just in 2015, what an enthusiastic team!
First, we'll show you a bit around the village, ready to share some interesting stories about the history of the place and its people while enjoying the elevated view of Corfu's east coast and town. Along the walk (possible during the morning tour only), we’ll pass by the local bakery where bread is still produced the old way, in the wood fired oven and, if you like, you may try some fresh bread. From there on this walking and hiking tour, we’ll head towards the surrounding forest to walk approx. 4 km on trails and paths that were until recently, not accessible.
Please be prepared for some steep parts, and several ups and downs along the route. Back in the village, we'll take a moment to have some refreshment at the traditional Kafenion before returning to the main square.
