This tour is a voyage into the vast blue of the Corfiot Sea, where a dive, whether into the shallow or deep waters, will bring you within close proximity of the hidden underwater wealth.
The Corfu Waterhoppers Diving Center has been operating since 1979 and has gained a reputation for their high standard of teaching and above all safety. So all equipment is regularly inspected, the Corfu Waterhoppers instructors are fully qualified dive medics, taking regular refresher courses and there is also a fully operational decompression chamber at their office. Medically trained staff is present at all diving sessions, so that in the event of an accident, the diver can receive immediate treatment.
You’ll be taken to a picturesque dive site with crystal clear waters on the north-east coast by high speed boats, each seating 25 people. (In the area, there are showers, toilets, sun beds to rent, and a tavern. A path leads also to nearby beaches).
The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. On arrival divers are separated into small groups up to 6 people either in “beginners” level, or “qualified” divers.
Inexperienced divers receive a brief, informative and fun lecture of diving safety and generalization of equipment. Then it’s time for diving! Each dive will last 20-30 min, in maximum depth of 5m. Qualified instructors are of course present.
