The proceedure:
As soon as you have bought the service form our site, we will plan the delivery, in order to make sure you’ll receive the rooter on time and in the agreed place.
You will be asked to provide us with info on the delivery and pick up dates and the hotel name. Our services will make sure that they will deliver the rooter to the hotel waiting for you during check in.
Then, the only thing you’ll have to do is leave it at the reception just before your departure.
Please note a deposit fee will be included in the cost, helping you not forgetting handing the rooter back, and the deposit will be fully refunded to you.
Device collection/return:
To ensure availability, we recommend placing your order at least 10 days prior to travel departure date - however, you can still place orders closer to your departure date and will be served as soon as possible.
Devices are normally collected and returned at your hotel. In special circumstances, you can return the device by post at the designated address (Wifins, 1 Fleming Ave., 19009 Greece). In any case where the device is not functional or not returned back, the initial deposit will be withheld.
Device use:
You may use the device and the allocated data as you wish, taking into account the following average data sizes per on-line experience.
1. Web traffic - A standard web page is likely to download between 200-500KB of data. However, websites with a lot of media content (pictures or videos) such as We Chat may use substantially more data.
2. Email - A general rule of thumb is that 50MB is enough for 250 emails. However, any attachments can greatly sway this number. A simple text email will only be a few bytes.
3. Skype use - A simple voice call via Skype will use around 4KB /second, while a video call will be 650KB /minute. However, this will vary according to coverage, as Skype will automatically increase or decrease call and video quality according to your internet speed. As a reference, a 15 minute audio call could use around 5MB, while a 15 minute video call could use around 10MB
