Discover Scuba Diving
Description
Once you arrive at the Diving Center arriving you will be given a Discover Scuba Diver Manual which includes all required paperwork, theory and a certification verifying you have completed the course. After completing the required paperwork there is a short DVD to watch which explains the basic principles of scuba diving, the equipment, some hand signals and basic diving skills. This is followed by a briefing with your Instructor who will then give you a suit, mask and fins, the scuba unit will have already been prepared for you.
Once you are fully suited up, you will go with your Instructor into the swimming pool where you will practice the basic skills and hand signals. When your Instructor is satisfied that you feel comfortable being underwater and when the skills are completed, you will go into the sea, which is only 20 meters from the swimming pool, for a 25-30 minute dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
